I had a dream last night. It was kinda weird. I dreamt that I was still in Australia. Still at home, and just waking up. As I woke up, I thought to myself "you'd better give mum hugs, because once you're in Canada, you'll have noone to hug."
As it turned out, I woke up, and was already in Canada, and already have noone to hug, which is kinda sad.
It's a thought that came about, given my experience already. Hindsight, whereas at the time I thought it was foresight. Of course, this has no real meaning, or significance, apart from me having something to open my post with =D
But it turns out that it'd be good to have hindsight as foresight, but I guess we all know that. I just hope by the end of my trip, my hindsight will not differ too much from my foresight, which, I guess is something I'll have to learn.
Things that have happened since my last post... Let's see. Sunday I went to church again. Didn't meet up with anyone this time, and, although I enjoyed the service and the message, I might start going to one on campus. Sunday afternoon was spent getting onto the college network. College network = a lot of files. I might actually need a new hard drive. There is a LOT of stuff on there, including Samurai Pizza Cats, which will definitely be coming home with me (and I might post it home early as well).

Monday was pretty good. As I've dropped the class now, I've got 7 hour breaks on Monday and Friday (and Wednesday too if I choose to take them). So, in my 7-hour break on Monday, I went down to Stanley Park with Cooper. It's a really big park inside the city, which has the Vancouver Aquarium and lots of walking/bike riding paths through it. It was quite nice, but not particularly exciting. They do have a rather cool little water park thing though, and a really cool-y designed playground.
Tuesday (yesterday) is my 'busy' day, so I spent it doing work. Had my first real Intro to Software Engineering prac (had to write some sort of document with my group... not particularly fun), and a couple of lectures, including one from a guest lecturer from IBM - which was most definitely the most boring lecture I've had here so far.
And that brings me to today. Well, after having trouble sleeping last night (I napped yesterday afternoon because I felt rather crap), I went to my lecture this morning, and then came back to crash on my bed. This meant no washing today, so I'm pushing the limits of my wardrobe at the moment. Went to a Computer Graphics prac - where I found out that my latest assignment is going to be rather hard (I have to draw a spider and animate it).
Had a tute, where the guy was rather useless, but seemed nice enough (which I reckon is going to be the start of my next post), and then went for lunch. Yay for lunch. I managed to have my first real taste of Canadian Salmon - I got Salmon Don (which is really just salmon on rice) from a Japanese restaurant just off campus. It was rather awesome, and presented rather well too.

But yeah, it was really good. Fairly cheap too, which is also good. But it was still more expensive than eating in, so I guess I shouldn't do that too much.
And yeah, that's it for now. I'm just about to go have dinner (leaving it a bit later now to avoid the stupidly large crowds). Tonight I'm going to finish my assignment (I've got the blog procrastination out of the way now), and hopefully on Friday I'll be doing the "Grouse Grind."

And ph34r my ub3r l337 opposite shadow skills =P

Well, I was just thinking that maybe one day I'll get a comment in before Tania does...but clearly today is not the day. In other news, hooray for regresses to childhood, with pizza cats and playgrounds. Maybe you'll be able to enlighten me as to the activities of these mysterious feline samurai, who I've never seen. Yes, you've abused me about that fact before.
